Hearing the words, “Your child has cancer,” was the most devastating experience of our lives… yet watching him undergo treatment and fight like a true hero, was the most incredible experience of our lives. Through our journey, we were helped by so many amazing people. It is our purpose and mission now to help other families who are fighting a similar battle.

Austie was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on Sept. 14th, 2013. He was only 2 years old. After over three years of treatment, we are incredibly grateful that he is now cancer free!

It's cliche but true, we appreciate your support more than words can say. Thank you for your time, your energy, your prayers, your support, we would not have managed through the last three years without you.

As we sat helpless in the hospital room after an outpouring of support, we vowed to pay this forward and commited ourselves to helping others who have their world rocked by childhood cancer. In 2017, we were approved as a 501©-3 Foundation. Our mission is to:

  • Raise money to help support ALL leukemia research at Children’s Mercy Hospital to improve the treatment options for children with this type of cancer.
  • Financially support families with the unexpected yet enormous medical bills and expenses that a family incurs with a cancer diagnosis. We will also donate a portion of all profits to Supporting Kids Foundation which helps LOCAL families fighting cancer pay for bills, travel, copays, etc.
  • Supply the Parent Bag program at Children’s Mercy Hospital. This program creates travel bags for parents to have basic toiletries when they are admitted to CMH oncology as most are admitted without warning and then do not leave for several days as the treatment process begins.

Last year we raised and donated $50,000 to these causes and we hope to meet and surpass this goal in 2017. If you would please consider being a part of this cause and donating, we would be grateful.
